Last year we supported the Go2Digital initiative which, in cooperation with the Croatian Institute for Transfusion Medicine, launched a significant campaign for saving lives aimed at promoting voluntary blood donation.
The campaign was recognized as an example of exceptional social responsibility and was therefore awarded at this year’s MIXX AWARDS CROATIA, where it was declared as the most prominent campaign in the field of corporate social responsibility.
Faced with a moment when blood supplies have fallen to an alarmingly low level, the campaign aimed at encouraging citizens to take immediate action. All digital posters in Zagreb were dedicated to this initiative, inviting passers-by to “show their superpower” and donate blood, with which they would directly contribute to saving lives.
Although Croatia has a long and proud tradition of voluntary blood donation, the donor rate among the total population is only about 4%. This campaign, therefore, was not only a reaction to immediate needs but also an important step in raising awareness about the constant need for blood donation to ensure sufficient supplies for all who need it.
At Salveo, we believe that such initiatives not only help in solving specific challenges but also strengthen the awareness of the importance of social responsibility.
